Developing leadership skills
The Division needs leadership. |
I feel like I'm lost at sea. |
There's no strategy in place. |
With AI's rapid advances, ED&I, gender issues and environmental impacts high on organisational agendas, alongside a growing awareness of CSR, Chief Executives and SMTs can feel swamped with the demands being made on them. The quality of thinking and resultant decision making is often poor as a result. Coaching and the skills learnt through embracing a Thinking Environment can help leaders navigate the rapids and steer towards less turbulent waters.
The Problem
~ You’re the CEO with no independent sounding board. You just don’t have time to think strategically or to bring out the best in those surrounding you.
~ There’s major change ahead and you’re worried about whether you’re making the right decisions and taking the right actions. ~ You've been tasked to do something about that expert that's been promoted but isn’t leading or achieving. ~ There is a lack of diversity in the team or top positions and there's too few women in the pipeline. ~ The Board has strong personalities with little evidence of collaboration resulting in conflict. |
