Invisibility

I was shocked but not shocked if you can understand that. I was talking to a good male friend about mysogeny and the negative influence social media has on young boys. He agreed but then said he’d noticed men of his age group 35-50 when together talk mainly of sport - males in sport.

It’s not that they dis women women in sport: they just don’t think of them. Women are invisible. A non-entity.

That got me wondering where else this happens? In what circumstances? And now that I’ve brought your attention to it, where do you see it?
